Christian Goerner is an experienced Georgia attorney dedicated to helping individuals, families, and small businesses throughout Georgia, including Metro Atlanta, Georgia’s Lake Country and rural communities. As a proud Georgian, the child of two public school teachers, and a product of Georgia’s public schools, Christian brings deep local knowledge and commitment to his clients.

Christian’s legal career began with a clerkship in rural Georgia’s Superior Courts, followed by practice at a prominent regional insurance defense firm. He now focuses his practice exclusively on representing everyday Georgians facing legal challenges in criminal defense, civil litigation, family law matters, real property disputes, and property tax appeals. He is particularly skilled in representing clients repeatedly involved with the legal system, providing strategic advocacy aimed at breaking negative legal cycles.

Known affectionately by his clients for his expertise in “dirt law,” Christian handles boundary disputes, quiet title actions, landlord-tenant litigation, property tax valuation appeals, and other real property matters throughout Georgia. He is licensed to practice law in all Georgia state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia.

Christian earned his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law, with certificates in Health Law and Public Interest Law. He also holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from Georgia Tech and graduated cum laude from Wofford College with a double major in Government and Environmental Studies, where he was an active member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.

Outside the courtroom, Christian remains active in Georgia’s legal community as a member of the Stonewall Bar Association. He is also an Eagle Scout, a Vigil Honor member, and a Founder’s Award recipient from the Order of the Arrow, exemplifying his ongoing dedication to service and leadership. Christian lives in Georgia with his significant other, enjoying community volunteering and traveling the globe—having visited 21 countries and counting.
